The TDU Fees consist of charges that are passed through to your by your local Transmission and Distribution Service Provider or TDSP (examples: Oncor, CenterPoint, TNMP, AEP). Examples of TDU Fees include:
- Advanced Metering Charge - A charge assessed to recover a TDSP’s charges for Advanced Metering systems (also known as smart meters), to the extent that they are not recovered in a TDSP’s standard metering charge.
- Energy Efficiency Cost Recovery Factor – A charge assessed to recover a TDPS’s costs for energy efficiency programs to the extent that the TDSP charge is a separate charge exclusively for that purpose that is approved by the Public Utility Commission.
- Priority Connection Fees – Fee assessed to begin service sooner than 3 business days
- Reconnection and Disconnection Fees
